If you’re having trouble signing in to our Help Center, this guide will walk you through the most common fixes and how to reach us if nothing works.
1. Make sure you’re on the right sign-in page
- Use the Help Center sign-in link we provided (for example, from an email or our website). We use Zendesk to host our Help Center content, and the address is https://support.dominionpayroll.com/hc/en-us. You can also use https://dominionpayroll.zendesk.com.
- Check that the website address (URL) matches our Help Center and isn’t misspelled.
- To sign in, click the Sign In link at the top right corner of the page. You'll be prompted to enter an email address and password.
2. Check your email and password
- Confirm you’re using the same email address you use when contacting our support team.
- Make sure Caps Lock is off and there are no extra spaces before or after your email or password.
- If you have multiple email addresses, try another one you might have used with us.
- If you have never signed into the Help Center before, click the "Sign up" link next to "New to Dominion Payroll?" under the blue sign in button.
If you see an “Email or password is incorrect” message, go ahead and try a password reset in the next step.
3. Reset your password
On our sign-in page, you won’t see a separate “Reset password” link for the Help Center itself. Instead, sign-in works through:
- Sign in with Google – use your usual Google account email and password. If you can’t sign in, use Google’s “Forgot password?” process on the Google sign-in screen.
- Sign in with Microsoft – use your Microsoft 365 / work account. If you can’t sign in, use Microsoft’s “Can’t access your account?” or “Forgot password?” link on the Microsoft sign-in screen.
-
Email and password on the right side of the page are only for accounts that we or your company have already created. If you’re new, use the Sign up link. If your account already exists, you'll receive an email with a link to reset your password.
4. Fix common browser and device issues
Sometimes the issue is related to the browser or device you’re using.
Try the following:
- Use a different browser (for example, Chrome, Firefox, Edge) and try again.
- Open a private/incognito window and try signing in there.
- Clear your browser’s cache and cookies, then restart the browser and try again.
- Make sure your browser is up to date with the latest version.
If you’re using Safari or an iPhone/iPad and sign-in keeps failing:
- Go to your device’s Settings.
- Open the Safari settings.
- Turn off options that block all cookies or “Prevent cross-site tracking,” then try signing in again.
You can also try using a different device (for example, switch from mobile to a laptop) to see if the issue is device-specific.
5. Account access and verification issues
Depending on how we’ve set up the Help Center:
- You might need to verify your email before signing in the first time. Check your inbox for a verification email from us and complete that step.
- In some cases, only approved users can create accounts and sign in. If you see a message that you’re not allowed to sign in or create an account, your profile may need to be added or updated by our team.
- If you recently changed your email address with us, make sure you’re using the new email to sign in.
If you think your account should exist but you still can’t sign in, contact us using the steps below.
6. Contact us for help
If you’ve tried the steps above and still can’t sign in, please contact our support team so we can check your account and Help Center access.
When you reach out, share:
- The email address you’re trying to sign in with.
- A description or screenshot of any error message you see.
- The browser and device you’re using (for example, “Chrome on Windows 11” or “Safari on iPhone”).
- The approximate time (and time zone) of your last sign-in attempt.
You can contact us by:
- Emailing our support team directly at customerservice@dominionpayroll.com, or
- Calling 804-355-3430.
If you’re ever unsure which option applies to you, contact our support team, and we’ll review your account and get back to you with the next steps!
