At this time, you only have to worry about ACA compliance in a given year if you employed 50 or more full-time-equivalent employees (50+ FTEs) in the previous calendar year.
If you employed less than 50 total employees in the previous calendar year, you do not have to comply. If you employed more than 50 and are unsure whether or not you crossed the 50+ FTE threshold, please contact benefits@dominionpayroll.com. We will help you run the appropriate compliance testing on your payroll data and be able to help you understand, based on the results, what will be required of your company to stay in compliance.
