Enabling Year End Tax Forms Electronic Consent
1. Adaptive
a. Navigate to Client Management > Client Utilities > ESS Settings > Adaptive Setup.
b. Click the Other Options tab.
c. Click Edit.
d. Check Activate Year End Tax Form Electronic Consent.
e. Save.
2. Classic
a. Navigate to Client Management > Client Utilities > ESS Settings > Self-Service Roles.
b. Click the Other Options tab.
c. Click Edit.
d. Check Activate Year End Tax Form Electronic Consent.
e. Save.
Reporting
1. All Electronic Elections (Electronic Consent and Year End Delivery)
a. Navigate to Employee Admin Tools > Employee Analytics > Electronic Elections
b. Change the Status Description to show All Employees (Active, Inactive, and Terminated)
c. Under “Year End Delivery”, the Delivery Status will display 3 options:
i. Active – Employees have opted to receive electronic tax forms
ii. Never Consented – Employees have never opted to receive electronic tax forms and will receive paper tax forms
iii. Withdrawn – Employees once opted to receive electronic tax forms but later opted to receive paper tax forms
2. Electronic Tax Form Delivery Status
a. Navigate to Reporting > Client Reports
b. Search “electronic” and click Filter
c. Select the report, the year, and click Generate Report.
