Managers or Supervisors will conduct the reviews. Each employee must be assigned to a manager and/or supervisor
- To assign managers to employees navigate to Employee Management > Employee Maintenance > Jobs.

- Use the Manager Search by typing in the last name of the manager
- Save
- Manager assignments can be seen under Employee Admin Tools > Employee Analytics > Managerial Assignments
1. Navigate to Client Management > HR Management Performance >Performance Review Types
- Click Add New.
- Name the Review Type. Note: You could have multiple types for various purposes: Self-Review,
Quarterly Review, Annual Review, etc.
2. Navigate to Client Management > HR Management Performance > Performance Review Ratings
- Click Add New.
- Title the Performance Review Rating System. This will be the scale you will use to review the employee’s performance. Title the rating in a way that the scale can be recognized immediately
- Multiple ratings systems can be created and used on different questions on the same review.
- Save
- This opens the ratings tab.
- Click Add New.
- Complete all required fields for each .Although the Description box is not required, it is highly suggested that it is filled in with an overview of how the employee would receive this rating.
- **code is used for imports**
- The scale should be representative of the Performance Review Rating System.

3. Creating the Performance Review. Navigate to Client Management >HR Management > Performance > Performance Reviews.
- Click Add New.
- Enter the review title
- Select an Overall Rating System for your review or leave blank
- If you would like to allow reviewers to provide comments, select the ‘Allow Overall Comments’ box.
- Determine who will be completing the review.
- If you would like to require the employee to acknowledge the review, select the ‘Requires Employee Acknowledgement’ box.
- Click Save. This will open two additional tabs – Questions and Email Alerts
- Click the Questions tab.

- Click Add New.
- The display order will default to the order in which you create the questions. You can change the display order after typing all the questions to match your preference.

- Chose a rating system from the dropdown and/or allow comments. If no rating system is chosen, select allow comments for responses
- Type the question or statement in the text box
- Click the Email Alerts tab.
- Designate who will receive email alerts.
- Reviewer Email Alerts – Email Alerts can be setup to inform the reviewer of upcoming reviews and overdue reviews.
- Note: If you do not currently have email templates setup, you must create those prior to attaching them to Email Alerts.
- If you would like to email the employee that they have a completed review to acknowledge, setup an email to be sent every ‘n’ number of days.
Creating Email Templates. Navigate to Client Management >> WorkflowSetup>>Client Email Templates
- Click Add New Email to create emails to be sent to the reviewer.

- Select the Email Type: Performance Reviews.

- Title the Email Subject Line.
- Write the general email to be sent to the reviewer to complete the review.
- Save.

- Click Add New to create an email to be sent to the reviewee.

- Select the Email Type: Performance Reviews.
- Title the Email Subject Line.
- Write the general email to be sent to the reviewee to complete the review.

- Click Add New to create an email to be sent to the Reassigned Reviewer.
- Select the Email Type: Performance Reviews.
- Title the Email Subject Line.

Reporting
The following reports are available in Client Reports:
- Performance Review Next Scheduled
- Performance Review Past Due
- Performance Review Completed
- Performance Reviews Scheduled
